Renew a Florida Vehicle or Vessel Registration on MyFlorida
Follow the directions below to renew your vehicle or vessel registration on the MyFlorida mobile app:
1. Open the MyFlorida mobile app and log in (see Create a Profile on MyFlorida)
2. Click Start Renewal under "Vehicle & Vessel Services"
3. Click Start a Renewal
4. Select whether you're renewing a Vehicle or Vessel.
5. Enter your vehicle's License Plate Number or your vessel's Registration Number and your Date of Birth, then click Search.
6. The results of your search will be displayed. Click Link your Motor Vehicle.
7. Click View your Motor Vehicle
6. Review and select your renewal options, then click Add $--.-- to Cart
Note: Renewal options may vary
7. If your residential address where you wish to receive your registration has changed, select My Address Has Changed and update your address with the FLHSMV before proceeding (see How do I update the address for my renewal?). Otherwise, select My address is the same to proceed without updating your address.
8. On the cart notification, click Checkout
8. Select a payment method or add a new one, then click the blue Pay $--.-- button to complete your payment
After your payment is completed, an email confirmation will be sent. Orders are processed and mailed by the FLHSMV and are generally delivered within 10 business days.
